In accordance with our ongoing commitment to help train and shape the next generation of GPs, the Madison Medical Practice St Ives welcomes Dr XP Cheah who is in his final term to the team. Dr XP Cheah completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2014. XP completed his initial hospital training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, then worked in the emergency departments at Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals as a senior resident and at Liverpool Hospital as an emergency registrar. XP has experience working in corporate medical assistance, coordinating aeromedical evacuations and providing travel medical advice.
XP enjoys all aspects of General Practice, having worked at various practices across Sydney. He has a special interest in Men’s Health, preventative health, and minor procedures, and will be undertaking further training in skin cancer medicine. XP lives locally in the Upper North Shore. Outside of work, he is an avid traveller, and enjoys skiing, distance running, and spending time with his wife and Golden Retriever.
