The Madison Medical Practice St Ives was proud to be apart of this years Rotary Club of Australia – Food, Wine & Lifestyle Festival that was held on Sunday the 8th of September 2019, Over 100 stalls where apart of the event, of which many were all local businesses.
It was an early start setting up the stall, and I have to thank our wonderful Team who not only set-up but handed out over 250 bags of goodies, to people. It was interesting to hear so many people thanking us for our services and that we are bulk billing.
Our dedicated team of Allied Medical Professionals donated there time to talk to people about their areas of interest. This included Leesa Garrety a Registered Psychologist, Jessica Bacha Physiotherapist, Sonia Dhiri Speech Pathologist, Isabella Ooi Podiatrist and Gauri Donald Dietitian. People were so thankful for the advise and their guidance. We were all happy to see that Gauri was interviewed on radio, whilst performing her cooking demo on healthy eating options!
Our Doctors and Nurses equally were present on the day, all enjoying the activities and the food and enjoyed speaking to many of the patrons who were already patients of the practice.
We thank the Rotary Club for the invitation, and look forward in being apart of future events to support the local St Ives community.
